The rules for using CVforGulf’s free tools, templates, and expert services.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of cvforgulf.com and related services operated by CVforGulf (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the site, creating an account, or purchasing any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About CVforGulf

CVforGulf is a career document platform. We provide tools and services to create CVs, cover letters, resignation letters, LinkedIn-related content, and job descriptions, plus optional expert writing services. We are not a job board and do not guarantee employment, interviews, or visa outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You may register with email/password or via Google authentication where offered.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or pose a security risk.
  • You may request account deletion via Contact or support email; some records may be retained where legally required.

4. Free tools and templates

  • Selected templates and tools may be used free of charge, with or without an account, as described on the site.
  • Free use may have limits (e.g. number of downloads, features, or templates available without signup).
  • We may change free offerings at any time. Free access does not create an obligation to keep any feature free indefinitely.

5. Gold / premium templates and packages

  • Premium (Gold) templates and credit packages require payment as shown on the Pricing or checkout pages.
  • Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
  • Purchases grant a personal, non-transferable licence to use the templates/credits for your own job applications.
  • Credits (e.g. number of CVs or cover letters) are consumed as described at purchase and are non-transferable.

6. Expert writing services

  • Expert services are performed by human writers based on the information you provide.
  • Delivery times (e.g. within 48 hours) are targets, not guarantees, and start after we receive complete information from you.
  • One revision round is typically included unless the service description states otherwise. Major scope changes may require an additional fee.
  • You remain responsible for the accuracy of facts you supply (dates, job titles, qualifications, etc.).
  • We do not guarantee that any CV or document will result in interviews, offers, or visas.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for illegal purposes or to create fraudulent documents.
  • Upload malware, scrape the site in bulk, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer our systems.
  • Resell, redistribute, or share paid templates or expert-written documents as a commercial product without our written permission.
  • Impersonate others or provide false identity information in a way that harms third parties.
  • Abuse free tiers (e.g. automated mass generation) in a way that harms service quality for others.

8. Intellectual property

  • The website design, branding, software, and template layouts remain our property or that of our licensors.
  • You retain ownership of the content you write or upload. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the service.
  • Documents produced by our expert writers for you are licensed to you for your personal career use. You may edit and submit them to employers. You may not resell the raw deliverable as a template product.

9. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to their terms when completing a purchase. We do not store full card numbers. Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully received.

10. Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to our separate Refund Policy. In summary, digital template purchases and completed expert work are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law or in cases of clear non-delivery or material defect at our fault.

11. Disclaimers

  • The site and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
  • We do not guarantee job outcomes, ATS scores, or compliance with any specific employer’s internal rules.
  • JD matching and keyword tools are assistive only; final responsibility for content rests with you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVforGulf and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Third-party services

The site may link to or integrate third-party services (e.g. Google sign-in, payment processors, AdSense). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

15. Changes to the service and Terms

We may modify features, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and close your account.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have in your place of residence.
